    great song. one of my all-time favorite bands… i did an essay on “one of the three’ in college. my conservative christian prof almost had a heart attack.

    I didn’t know that one but I just listened to it. It’s fantastic. I would love to read the essay if you still have it.

    A friend just introduced me to Over The Rhine. Are you familiar with them?

    “Getting Away With It” is still in my head, and now so is OTR’s “Changes Come” and “Latter Days.”

    Yeah, I’ve been a fan of OTR for a while now…”Changes Come” is definitely one of my favorites. Also check out:
    “Give Me Strength” and “Little Blue River/In the Garden” off Films for Radio

    and I’m a huge fan of the Drunkard’s Prayer disk. Their version of “My Funny Valentine” is great. and the Christmas stuff they put out this past year was pretty stellar as well.
