Top 5 Tools for Writing on the Move

Richard Galbraith is starting a meme. Top 5 tools for writing a novel on the move. Here’s mine, Cusack in High Fidelity style. They won’t end up being very different from Richard’s, I’m afraid.
1. Small notebook.
2. Inky pen.
3. Laptop, preferably a MacBook, with online connectivity. google docs, wikipedia, etc.
4. Music, preferably on the iTunes platform.
5. Jump drive for back ups.
* A stack of spiral bound notebooks from the grocery store
* Lots of pencils because I love writing with pencils
* Cooler full of Snicker Bars (sorry thighs! I NEED Snicker Bars to write!)
* Big stack of cd’s because I’m old…er, old school and prefer to not mingle my bands in an Ipod
* Someone else to drive. It’s a road trip, right?!
